Also I usually always hand draw word balloons in SAI. I prefer the look of hand drawn word balloons to perfect robotic oval balloons. Well, I dunno what else to say. My process is pretty lame and straight forward I guess.

If SAI had a type tool and a way to make perfect rectangles for comic panels (if it does someone please tell me lol), I would probably never use Photoshop to be perfectly honest. Photoshop is fun for its weird brushes but eh… I’m not all that great with that stuff, I kinda just prefer the cartoon look. Idk, maybe I’m just a shitty artist (probably!)

Oh btw, how do you like that font in the first panel? I figured I’d make one based on my hand writing so I don’t have to keep hand lettering my pet project. I think it came out pretty damn okay!
